Right decision by the stewards disqualifying Maximum Security. If it had been a mid-week $10,000 claimer, he would have been disqualified after 2 or 3 minutes. They took their time because of the importance of the race, but they did the right thing.

In my opinion, that is a ticky tack call.
Yeah, the 7 did come out a path and bother the 1.
But the 1 did not appear to lose action, only brieflytaken. Then was set down agsin.
I dont think the 1 was cost a placing.

Best horse won and that is not what history will remember. The rest of the field wasn't going to go by the winner and I feel for the Connections, even Prat didn't want the win.

Utterly Garbage Call. That was a monstrous effort. If the #1 had finished 2nd and objected, no problem. Flip flop the top two!! What a horrible way to win if you are Country House. That horse was never ever going to go by Maximum Security.
To run such an incredible race at those ridiculous fractions and to be taken down in such a horrendous manner is nothing short of disgraceful.
P.s.- And, no, although I liked him for the win, I didn't like him at the price at the post. He would have been a gift for anyone that actually had him at 4 to 1.

Who cares about the effort? The horse came out and almost put a horse into the dirt. How would that have been for racing's image?
People who are calling "total bullshit" and "I'm quitting" are being absolutely RIDICULOUS.
YOU GUYS CRY CONSTANTLY FOR STEWARDS TO BE CONSISTENT.
Then when we have a race that most likely WOULD HAVE BEEN A DQ in the 5th race on Friday, it shouldn't be a DQ because of the Derby?
Also hilarious.
