the Preakness toilet run 2008 - yup, lets take a run over the porta-potties while drunks are winging beer cans at you, lots of them. Brilliant.
Conditions: Distance - 50 yards, Purse - all the beer you can salvage from the outfield. For non-winners of a porta-potty race since May 1, 2007.
Thanks for posting that, awesome. Wish I had been there.

Someone is claiming foul. The winner pushed three drunk guys and they almost fell off the outhouses.

Youtube has quite a few of them......
I sat in the covered grandstand for 20 years (yeah the same seats that were condemned a few weeks ago. Stopped going about 3 years ago when they jacked the price the tickets up from $100 to $125. $5 per year was tolerable but $25 and not fixing the place....I'd rather watch at home.

When I was watching that I didn't know whether to laugh or assume humanity is domed.

if 1 3/16 isn't 'sacred' for the Pim Spcl ... Why not swap the sequence of the Dupont Distaff w/ the Black Eyed Susan??
The Dupont is a decent race, seems a bit anti-climactic to run it after the featured BES...

They just showed on on NBC - some fat blond fell off one one face first into another. Nick Luck said that was Black Eyed Susan.

Things bascially on schedule, but not much wiggle room. Was R8 timed correctly? She just crushed the track record?

Full seconds....I have no faith in the timers there.
The freaking GRANDSTAND is condemned.
Stronach tracks not noted for being able to time races.
Most Stronachs have no idea what day it is, let alone how fast a race ran.
