Hey! Go for it. You get 13 of the 15 states with the highest poverty rate.
We get 11 of the 15 states with the lowest poverty rate.
We get two thirds of the population. California alone has more people than about a dozen of the states in your new country. Just promise us that you will take Trump with you.
More importantly, now that we are rid of you birdbrains we can build the country we want and need.
While we are developing renewable sources of energy such as wind, solar and geothermal; you will be irresponsibly using up the planets fossil fuels. (Don't expect us to keep those pipelines from Canada open and don't expect any oil from North Dakota.)
While we are welcoming the best and the brightest from all over the world; you
will building walls and stagnating. While we are establishing single payer health insurance, you will continue to have high levels of uninsured and poor access to care. While we are empowering workers and revitalizing our middle class, your economy will be sinking into feudalism with a billionaire ruling class and an impoverished working class.
While we are establishing commonsense gun laws, you will be becoming a land of mass shootings and vigilante justice. While we are continuing to cooperate with our friends and negotiate fairly with our adversaries, you will be careening from one crisis to another, never figuring out that it is not them; it is you.
Finally, we get to keep the name; United States of America. I am sure you can find an appropriate name for your new country. Perhaps, Lower Slobbovia?

I'm not worried at all. People living in states that allow right-to-work laws deserve what they don't have.

Knock yourselves out....
Conservatives are completely delusional.
You actually deserve to live with each other.
Go ahead.
Take your territory.
Don't forget to build that wall, though.

- The ICBMs.
- The coal industry.
Judging from where the posts are the FSA would probably have most of the Army.
Since Washington, D.C. is in Soyland where will the FSA have its capital?
How do the two countries divide up the national debt? Does the FSA get most of the debt since conservative policies created most of it?
Not likely that either of the two new countries would remain a world power.

You somehow believe that state borders represent an homogeneous thinking people. If you look at 'blue' states, territory-wise, most are really red states with a beachhead of blue in them. LA, SD, and SF in California; NYC in New York; Philly in PA; Chicago in IL; Atlanta in GA. Actual true 'blue' territory is probably less than 10% of the country by land size. Good luck winning the war though.

Why can't liberals understand that? Mexico has 5x the murder rate of the USA and very strict gun laws, how is that working?

Put it to a vote.....it wins by 75 to 25
The minute the new Federalist Country gets rid of welfare, the migration will be massive. Btw, farming and food production would be a big deal. Energy? Huge!
Keep the military. And pay for it.
Texas has enough oil to fuel the country for a hundred years.
We’ll get by........
