Nazem Kadri?
Good on Willie, he had a great tournament, i thought Tre Kronor had the advantage on the back-end, but it was pretty even in the end.

Game 6 at Ottawa and they didn't sell out? Why? Prices? HDTV? The 7-0 beat down the game before? The boring style of hockey they play? Won't be boring tonight. Erie vs Windsor in the Memorial Cup. Should be a great game. Looking forward to it. Congrats to the Preds for moving on.

The arena is 45 minutes outside of Ottawa, in the middle of nowhere, getting there is a pain in the ass.
Eugene is gouging the fans with parking and concession prices.
There’s only a million people in Ottawa, it’s not a very big city.
Women outnumber the men by 3 to 1, it’s a government town.
The price of tickets seems to be a problem, even though they are a fraction of what Leaf tickets sell for.
Would you want to pay hard earned money to watch the trap?
Their fanbase are a bunch of clowns.

Man, if he's there at 17 I take him. I know what I saw. Granted it's been about a year and a half now. I wouldn't say he was the fastest skater, but he was strong on his skates. Great hands, wasn't afraid to muck it up in the corners. I thought he played center then not RW. The last time I was this high on a Russian forward was Valeri Nischushkin. He's back in the KHL.

The knock on him is his skating, and i would prefer it if we became faster rather than slower, why break up a good thing.
We need a right-winger like we need a hole in the head, our depth at that position is locked up for the foreseeable future. If we don’t draft a C-man or a D-man with the 17th pick, i will be very disappointed in Hunts.
Anaheim announced that Lindholm and Vatanen are out long term, both need surgery, that complicates a trade for a defenseman.

Carolina, LA Kings, Wild, maybe even the Flames. Plenty of teams to get a d-man from. I understand your skepticism on Kosta. And you're right about needing a d-man and maybe a center. The guy I saw was elite. If you can get elite at 17 you take it. Looking forward to draft night and all the trades leading up to it. There will be a ton.

The 2016-2017 Marlies were lacking in balance—overloaded at wing, under-serviced on defence and centre—and unlucky with injuries. That imbalance was largely because of the bulk-buying strategy that filled up the organization indiscriminately. That needs to be addressed, but the future of the Marlies is as a team with a few players who can be called up to fill a depth role and with one or two overripe prospects who won’t be promoted to the Leafs until they are fully developed.
The bulk-buying days are over, they need to be articulate in the way the fill out the organization's depth, it’s pretty glaring what the needs are on both clubs.

Yes. No Canadian team has won Stanley since 1994.
Great try on Ottawa's part though.

Poor Ottawa... I feel horrible for them.
Second year in a row I am forced to root for Pittsburgh. Juju Smith-Schuster is getting in the good graces of Steelers fans by rooting for the Penguins.
