Do your boys play hockey? Is the GTHL in their future?
Marleau: Yeah, the three older boys are playing. My oldest told me I had to get him on a good team there. I’m seeing what I can do. He’s been playing travel hockey here. That is his demand, so we’ve got to try and make it work for him.

Jets recently signed Dmitry Kulikov via free agency to a 3 year $ 4,333,333.00 contract. Not familiar with this 26 year old Russian defenseman, any input welcome.

Some late summer house cleaning....
$1.45 mill off the books, and seeing that we were maxed out at 50 pro contracts, this move opens up a contract.

Guess who leads the NHL in playoff goals the last two season? He has 18. Maybe about the number of hot dogs in that Stanley Cup. The answer is Phil Kessel. Personally i'm glad for him. Talented guy. Just didn't work in Toronto. That's okay though. One of the few trades that helped both teams. The Leafs got rid of him because it wasn't working. Received a talented young forward who should make the team this year in Kappy if he isn't traded. And I'm pretty sure Phil is happy with the trade too. Two Cups in two seasons. Win. Win.
