Covington student sues Washington Post
...To the tune of 250 million
Hope he wins, the lawsuit is based on facts. I don't care what he cleans them out on financially, I'm more hoping the message is loud and clear. Stop reporting agendas and making people's lives miserable to forward your slanted message

Just a coincidence that the suit is for $250M, the same amount that Bezos paid for WaPo in 2013

I don't think the $250 million number is a coincidence at all

You have to prove damages.250 million worth?Plus he's suing everybody who ever mentioned his name, including his school.Straight cash grab.
Bezos just flipped the bird to the mayor of New York City and the Governor of New York State and didn't cower to the National Enquirer over infidelity accusations. You think some teenager and his ambulance chasers are going to faze him.?
He's already got nearly 40 K from suckers, oops supporters.I can be insulted for a lot less.

Sounds to me like the kid is on pretty solid ground. And, yes, he's suing all those who WaPo knew would pick up their story through syndacation.
I would love nothing better than to see a modern day "shepherd" boy David slay a modern version of Goliath.
It could serve as a severe warning and wake up call for other bird cage liners with newsprint on them.

This is a very good idea - the media needs to be held to a higher standard.
A few law suits that go the right way might cost a few jobs at these fake news places.
Anyone who watched CNN 20 years ago knows that it is in now way a news channel these days.
I hope the kid ends up owning the WaPo.

A wasted effort by this kid, like someone who files papers to run for President so it can be said to grandchildren that you ran for President.
It is like a 99.9% chance the first judge does a toss in a minute flat.

Pathetic.
You're implying that the conservative message is not slanted, in of itself.
Too funny.....
