I'll start out by saying Trump will get ZERO credit from elly and _____, as well as CNN and all the other major news media outlets...

This crisis is in no way over at this stage, but is looking like score one for Mike if no shots are fired.
President Donald J. Trump might score big time for not being Obama or Hillary, that is a huge score because Kim Dumb Dong will still have to die.
The credit for not botching this up will be bigly if it is pulled off, and can not be understated at reelection time.

Trump's threats are actually aimed at Iran. Thanks to Obama, Iran is now the dangerous enemy of the USA and the Free World. Their nuclear capability falls at the feet of the anti-American Obama. It is Iran that are the ones that will try to exploit the current situation if Trump looks weak. Trump knows that North Korea will not nuke Guam, or San Francisco, or anywhere else for that matter. So, he sends a signal to Iran that North Korea will be history if they launch nukes which also means, ditto for Iran.

We fritter away what again? The reason clowns such as the Korean Fat Boy rattles the cage is because the liberal left wing media here have tried since Election Day 2016 to diminish and de-legitimize both Trump and the US Presidency.
Obama and Clinton did more than their share in frittering away USA stature around the world. Thank God Trump is not like these weaklings.
Trump's statements were neither bluster nor bizarre. The media's interpretations of what Trump said is what's over the top, not Trump's.
Remember, it's the Korean Fat Boy that has starved his citizens, has killed family members and now threatens to nuke the greatest country on Earth, and left wing dimwits have their underwear in knots because of what Trump said in response?

In a sense, I guess it's the same rational. He is addressing his audience who seem to need constant reassurance that we really are badasses.

More analysis by someone that's probably scared of his own shadow so he talks tough by trying to demean America with these juvenile remarks.
Americans and patriots do not need 'constant reassurances' to prove anything -- we just want leadership, something that was lacking these past 8 years.

This would make more sense if North Korea wasn't waaay further ahead than the Iranians.
Again though... this isn't how you go to war. GWB and his father are TEXTBOOK examples of how you lead a country to war. This is an idiot spouting absurdities he is no position to follow through on. Much like Obama and his red line or Kim on any given Tuesday. There is actually very little difference between any of those three scenarios at the moment.

The more Kim and his media rattle their sabres the more I am okay with Trump doing what he promises. Enough of these insect terrorist leaders holding world policy hostage with threats of destruction to a country that merely tolerates their very existence.

Here we are really dealing with the puppeteer, China, Imo. N. Korea is a scarecrow.

Worthwhile read
"If the past is prologue, and it has proven to be, the future holds this. A renewal of ICBM tests until a missile is perfected. Occasional atrocities creating crises between the U.S. and North Korea. America being repeatedly dragged to the brink of a war we do not want to fight."
"As Secretary of Defense James Mattis said Sunday, such a war would be “catastrophic. … A conflict in North Korea … would be probably the worst kind of fighting in most people’s lifetimes.”

I believe you are right. Iran's interest is middle east. To keep the imbalance and gain superiority over neighboring Arabs. They already own Iraq for all practical purposes, Imo.

Exactly, and the reason they get away with it is that we let woosies decide our foreign policies. We have sucked up to this lunatic and his family for decades, alway giving in. We need a man at the hel m who is not afraid to stand p to evil instead of cowering from it for 8 years. Kim Dung Pyle needs to see this in action, as does the rest of the world.

I've got no problem with diplomacy. I am rarely encouraging military intervention, and I'm not here either, necessarily. But we can't be a hopelessly naive citizenry of optimists straight from the film classic Mars Attacks! either. Scolding them and starving their citizens hasn't done much to discourage this type of behavior.

Good post, Reck! I suppose the world thinks that that pot-bellied maniac's treatment of his citizens is laughable too.

Agree. You don't rush into a war.
But when the time to talk is over, you best not wait - the longer you wait, the higher the cost when you do go.
This POS has threatened American lives and has the means to do it. I see nothing to talk about.
What should we do now, listen to the sage advise of Moron-Maxine Waters and find out what he wants and give it to him?
