Misjudged the line.

Damn, Aussie jock almost screwed the pooch there. Did he mistake the finish line?
Best sprinter in the world no doubt, but probably not as great as we were made to believe watching her race in Oz.

I think she is good, but what real quality did they have down in Oz? Good, but not great in my opinion.

t's too bad a lot of the Kings Stand didn't run because they thought BC wasn't beatable, I'm sure a lot of them are now regretting that decision.

Man, thank God the jockey didn't blow the photo with that ride. It would have been terrible on so many levels.

WOW. She's smarter than her jock, she kicked her head and neck out front! She knew where the wire was. Bless her heart.

Look at the crowd of people at Ascot. TVG, showing as well, a 1 a.m. 7K crowd gathered in Australia to watch their champion.

With her bigger than life butt, she's something to see. What a joy to witness people around the world so excited about 2 racehorses in 1 week.

She didn't look her best today, even if Nolan hadn't eased up early.
I guess she runs next month at Newmarket in the July Cup.
Hopefully, the ground will be firmer by then.
I don't think the ground was too soft today, though.

Had she run against Frankel this week, I think she gets beat.

He would have to apply for asylum in the UK, because he'd never be able to go back to Australia!!

Gotta figure the jock was unfamiliar with the track.

I pray and hope that this is a big fat rumor:

Andrew Hawkins ‏@AndrewNJHawkins Reliable sources say Black Caviar has injured herself, question to be asked of Moody/Nolen #horseracing

This is the kind of situation where some good cross country speed figures or a thorough analysis of other cross border shippers might be useful. It's hard to know whether she struggled today because of the ship, she's older and has lost a step, she's been beating nothing in Australia, the surface is more demanding, or a little of bit of each.

Last I heard there is no July Cup for her. She will go home next week. Seems like a waste to come all that way for just one race.

Have to agree on current form from both.
