NBC Shakes up BC Team
In an effort to ensure yet another year of dreadful coverage and mindless chatter all day long, NBC shakes up the broadcast team.

I'm just sick of Collmus. Was hoping that somehow this was about him doing something else with that time. Then again, I will be on track and listening to Denman, so whatever.
But still, sick of Collmus. Who strikes me as merely technically sound but with no "there" there, like a Durkin or Wrona.

New to the boards so don't hate me, but I'm a fan of collmus but I believe he suffers from being too much in the spotlight, to use a hockey apology since edzo is replacing battaglia, everyone thought doc emrick was a great announcer before going to nbc then when he did he's seen as overrated. I think it stems mostly from peoples desire to say they like an unknown or underrated broadcaster rather than the "main guy"

I'd poke out my ear drums if I had to listen Denman on a regular basis. He is the worst caller in the US now that CD got rid of Johnson.

I'm really pumped for Eddie O.
Really smart handicapper and an on air personality.
He knows racing and talks about it on his hockey broadcasts quite often.
I think this will be a real good fit for him.

This is changing the ashtrays on the Titanic. The ratings for their "win and your in" telecasts haven't been drawing flies, so they feel like they have to do something.

With that kind of lead in, I was thinking that NBC had hired the guys from TVG.

Churchill needs to hire Grunder. Everything else they've done makes about as much sense.
