Where do you get your science?
We know Covid exists and we know there are mutations.
We do not know if this one is or even should be affected by current vaccines.
We also know millions of people worldwide have died of Covid, so I think we should defer to facts over politics until we know more about this.
We call out the left for ignoring science, so we should not do the same thing.

Please stop....I've stated the virus doesn't exist....I should have stated "no longer" exists. Sorry for the confusion.
Now read my post #15.....It should be clear now.

the reported worldwide deaths from this 'variant' are still less than the weekly deaths in Chicago from peaceful illegal gun usage
and they have 'confirmed' a couple of cases in Canada

Suspicious how the new variant only appears days after Reports of South Africa refusing additional vaccine shipments and reporting low vaccination rate. I mean , really???

I 100% agree.
I've been ultra conservative in my own personal behavior, got vaccinated, and remain careful. But that's a personal choice. It's clear everything the authorities have done has destroyed businesses, destroyed lives, destroyed health in other ways, and simply delayed the inevitable spread anyway.

I bet Colin Powell would disagree with that idea.

i'll predict a race, not this stuff
The difference in DNA is quite significant, if the source that I saw was accurate.
Interesting how a mutation can occur so early in similarities among whatever TF this graph happens to be measuring;

Good sense of humor....Now let's get serious with the word games.
OMICRON
ONCOMIR
An oncomir is a microRNA that is associated with cancer.
MicroRNAs are short RNA molecules about 22 nucleotides in length.
Essentially, miRNAs specifically target certain messenger RNAs to prevent them from coding for a specific protein. The dysregulation of certain microRNAs has been associated with specific cancer forming events.
Many different oncomirs have been identified in numerous types of human cancers.....Wikipedia

it is too bad that we could not get data about how many deaths would have been dead within another year anyway from pre-existing health problems. I suspect it would be over 50%.

I agree that the percentage would be significant. In addition, I suspect many deaths were quicker and less painful with covid. Still doesn't minimize the loss of time with loved ones. When you look at practically though, covid is like many viruses. They take the infirmed more quickly and easily.

I now see a different sort at last masking up, blue-collar guys wearing soiled ball caps, over-sized flannel shirts, and 4 day stubbles. The silent tough guys who afford you that one terse nod, if they acknowledge you at all. And I think, if those dudes that fear nothing have finally given in, maybe I should, too.
Wearing a mask in my office as I type this. And I'm not even sure if it's for myself, or my crew. Or for no reason at all. I'm really not.
