You just lack the basic understanding, none of us intend on shooting anyone. Conceal carry is just a way of life for some of us. I will first put distance from me and mine from danger and not be a cowboy. Pose a valid threat when I have loved ones near by it is on you period. None of us looks for confrontation, and many of us have formal training to have good form in a split second if needed. Second hand garbage from the north is not wanted or appreciated.

Dumbest statement of all time. Chicago has The Lyric Opera, The Chicago Symphony, The Art Institute, dozens of museums, The Shedd Aquarium, the Adler planetarium, Lincoln Park Zoo, Brookfield Zoo, Conservatories in Lincoln Park and Garfield Park. We also have Garfield Goose.

You can ride your bicycle along Lake Michigan from The University of Chicago all the way up to Evanston. You can swim at 31 beaches. If you own a boat, there are 8,000 berths. There are 570 parks covering 8,000+ acres. Plus miles of green boulevards.

Culturally you can choose from The Goodman Theater, Steppenwolff Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Broadway in Chicago, Second City Improv, Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, Taste of Chicago, and many others.

Chicago has Buckingham Fountain, sculptures by Picasso and Chagall and the Bean. Chicago is the home of the skyscraper.

Chicago is or has been home to authors like Carl Sandburg, Studs Terkel, Nelson Algren, Saul Bellow, Gwendolyn Brooks,Theodore Dreiser, Upton Sinclair, Ray Bradbury and Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Other famous Chicagoans include Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, Jane Addams, Milton Friedman, Ann Landers and, I almost forgot, Earnest Hemmingway

Chicago and environs is home to many fine colleges and Universities, including two of the top schools in the country, The University of Chicago and Northwestern University.

Besides all of that, while I don’t live in Chicago, I am very close.

I thought you were going to ignore me? What happened? You may not intend on shooting someone but some of your fellow Americans feel otherwise. You make it seem like you will have lots of time to get your loved ones out of harms way then decide what to do. You have no sense of reality, even trained cops make errors in these stressful types of situations. I don't care if you want or appreciate my "garbage" from the north. I guess you don't believe in free speech. How American of you

Every large city and most small cities has slums. Most of the buildings you showed have been torn down. Cabrini-Green and Robert Taylor homes were major mistakes designed to warehouse black people without addressing the underlying causes of poverty and crime.

Besides, if we didn’t have Cabrini Green etc how would you feel superior.

There are problems in Chicago, but there are many great things too. To make the statement “Chicago is a s hole is the height of ignorance.

Corporate HQ for the company I work for is in Rosemont. Everyone I have talked to says Chicago is a shit hole. Complete shit hole is the exact words. I am sure they are all wrong.

Those corporate headquarter people must be a bunch of snobs, they need to take a trip to East St.Louis, Illinois, then they would think Chicago is akin to Beverly Hills. I have been to East St.Louis but not to Chicago. Any city that has a high amount of black street gangs is a dangerous shit hole. They do not care who gets killed when they target a person or group of people, they will shoot up weddings and funerals.

I have had a gun pointed at me twice while I had a gun in my vehicle, I just hit the brakes. One was when I was tailing some people I saw rob a liquor store. I got the license number before I locked up the brakes. The other time a guy purposely cut me off. I pulled along side and gave him the finger and he pulled a gun from his glove box.

I will decide if putting distance between danger is prudent or not within a split second. Garbage from the north is exactly what it is, United States law is not subject to liberal horseshit from someone who is clearly not an American. Piss on your country's laws and peoples ways and you will not hear squat from me. Your free speech in my mind is coming from a piss pot anyway.

From Heritage.org

According to the data, America’s 18 million concealed-carry permit holders accounted for 801 firearm-related homicides over a 15-year span, which amounts to roughly 0.7% of all firearm-related homicides during that time.

In that 801 are people who killed their spouse at home, where the permit wasn't even needed.

Its people like you who make Americans top 3 in most hated country in the world. I really don't care what a yokel from New Hampshire thinks of me or my country. Just ignore me like you said you would. New Hampshire is insignificant, nobody cares what you think.
