Engish Translation of The Septuagint

This is how the NET (New English Translation) reads, which is a translation of the OT in Greek.

6(5) Your arrows are sharp, O powerful one --
peoples shall fall under you --
in the heart of the king's enemies.

7(6) Your throne, O God, is forever and forever
A rod of equity is the rod of your rule,
You loved righteousness and hated lawlessness

Therefore God, your God, anointed you with oil
of rejoicing beyond your partners.

What the text is saying is quite obvious. God has a throne. Therefore, God is a King, for only kings have thrones! "Your throne, O God , is forever and forever."
Further, only God's throne could be "forever and forever". This is exactly what I pointed out earlier with Psalm 110 and the Davidic Covenant. It's not possible in any of these passages we have discussed that the messianic king could be but a mere mortal.

In the last part of 7(6), the first Elohiym is this eternal King. And the second Elohiym is this the first Eloyhiym's God.

See how easy this is.

Why use a translation?

Go to the original Hebrew text.

Not very well.

That's why I would consult someone who does. They're not too hard to find.

So, do I. They're called language scholars and their job is to translate.

But what is exceedingly difficult to find is an answer from you to a very simple question: Is this so-called King Moshiach eternal?

Hebrew isn't like some ultra mystical language that nobody speaks anymore. Stop acting like it is.

You just don't want to accept what people who are expert in both the language and the scriptures are telling you what certain important things mean in English.

So you'll go shopping around for a "translation" until you find the one that suits you.

No one translation is perfect, so the smart thing for an honest student of scripture to do is to consult various translations to try to derive the sense of the text.

I do accept what language experts say as long as what they're saying doesn't contradict the scriptures. It's you who cannot. Look at you: You still haven't answered questions I have asked repeatedly.

You haven't told me who the human lord in Ps110:1 is. Nor have you told me if
King Moshiach Psalm 45 is eternal or not, or is he just a a human., too? Maybe even the same human lord in Ps110:1?

But those are not the result of poor translations; rather the result of poor interpretations which are the products of corrupt minds.

Anyone who honestly wants to understand the scriptures can do so, most especially in this day and age of all the biblical tools at our disposal, such as bible dictionaries, concordances, multiple translations, topical bibles, chronological bibles, gospel harmonies, bible software, etc. In this day and age, no one has any excuse to plead ignorance. If someone wants to know truth, these aids are out there, along with the most important aid of all -- the Holy Spirit who would honor anyone's honest prayer for help.

I did that a long time ago. It's an act called repentance.
