Anyone know of a good one that actually works and doesn't require jumping through hoops? Tx.

be careful..........there are lots of apps out there that do this but are full of trashy add on's etc. including malware.
I will look around.........but most of them scare me.

They scare me, too. That's why I asked.
I wouldn't even use them. However, with Summer coming up, I wanted to get some music that isn't available on ITunes.

Simple and effective...just don't click on those huge DOWNLOAD NOW or PLAY NOW buttons...I think those are ads...
Copy the link from youtube and paste it into the box and press enter...you will be presented with a bunch of formats in which to save to on your PC...

actually, theres a better one
If you use firefox as your browser, add this extension and make it easy on yourself. Very capable, safe.
Easy YouTube Video Downloader 6.8
in Firefox, click on tools, add ons, and type above into search window there!
If I remember correctly, the requested mp3, or whatever you choose to save ends up in your download folder.

Check out 4Kdownload.com. They have products for video and/or audio. I use the paid versions but the free one(s) may be all you need.
