John Hinckley to get unconditional release,*

Hinckley, 67, attempted to assassinate Reagan in 1981. U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman announced Hinckley will be released on June 15. The judge previously announced in September that Hinckley would be released so long as he remained in good behavior, which he has

What the hell... let's go on about gun violence and set a assassin free. Really they going to cut Mark David Chapman loose as well. I'm sure he's a fine fella by now as well.

Is he going to marry Jodie Foster, even if she's a lesbo?

Without reading up I strangely thought he got out years ago and was living with his mother in Williamsburg area of Virginia. Either way he should have been locked up for life. Personally I could even execute people for attempted murder depending on circumstance. Why should your life be spared when you intended to kill someone but are a poor shot.

. Honestly, I don't see how someone who had deranged thoughts while sober, at 25 wouldn't have them 40+ years later.

I'm not positive, but I think I've heard that he has been on releases much of the time.

Never. He was never in position to fire the fatal shot, so he will never get out.

Do tell your theory, I thought that one was cut and dry. There were plenty of witnesses close by.
