TVG today around 1pm ET

I'll be on talking with Rich Perloff today about things like run up and how it can effect figures, turf rails, timing issues, etc.

Missed it. Any chance you or someone else could post a clip of the video?

Second this request - if permissible, someone please post the segment.

Most excellent segment. Run ups can be a confusing subject and you did an excellent job explaining them.

I was home from work on a snow day.

And there you were.

My wife says what the hell is he talking about.

I told her it was about run ups. The untimed segment of a horse race.

She was totally confused. Doesn’t the timing start when the gate opens.

Uh no.

If they never eliminate run ups, I wish they would at least make them consistent every day for each distance at each track. Then all you would have to worry about woiuld be the track to track comparisons instead of the variations from day to day or even race to race at the same track.
