Inflation question

Do the economic policies during the Trump presidency have anything to do with the rise of inflation under Biden?

Trump believes that economic security equals National security.

Trump had the US energy independent and a significantly growing economy with increasing wages for workers.

When Biden's handlers purposely choose to destroy the economy with their New Green Deal policies, rapidly increasing inflation is a natural result which is not a consequence but a desired feature.

To answer your question, responsibility for rapidly increasing inflation is all on Biden (and his controllers) because of their enacted policies. Fools and political operatives will try to deflect and blame it on Trump.

The economy lost 2.87 million jobs during the Trump presidency.

The shift in energy policy was by all accounts from good to bad. That alone was a huge tax on middle income and below. Trumps policy on the economy was continuis, meaning adjustments to keep it going and America first is what came out day after day. The middle class were not subjected to the whims of AOC and her band of degenerates of the squad. A good President will nurture a economy instead of driving it into a ditch like Biden has.

That loss was Covid-19 and how states handled the pandimic. Some states did much better than others.

Imo, if Trump had taken the same path as Sweden when Neil Ferguson's flawed Covid Model was released the US would be in a much better position than where we find ourselves right now.

Yes there would have been a Pandemic.

But no:

We wouldn't have locked down, and the US Economy never would have been gutted.

There wouldn't have been a push to pass that first massive spending bill or the others that followed.

As a result, inflation would be orders of magnitude lower than what we have now under the current administration.

And the Fed wouldn't be raising rates like they are now.

And on, and on, and on...

The effects from the tariffs, and suppliers trying to game the system had finally settled to the little effect level, then Biden took office and all hell broke loose. It was a PITA for a while, for me buying raw materials for machining under Trump, now it is a full fledged disaster.

No he wasn’t a fear monger, quite the opposite.

Was he helpless to do anything about the dem/fear mangers? He was still the president.

Perhaps Joe will shore up his ticket for 2024 by replacing Kamala with an economy expert, like Jimmy Carter.
