'A Sad and Evil Day'

It's MURDER...plain and simple. New York, to cheers, has given a pass on full-blown murder! Sick, sick sick!!

New York Legalizes Abortion Up to Baby's Birth Day on Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

Quote:
"[Reproductive Health Act] RHA is an extreme bill sold to the public saying it merely 'updates' New York's law, which is far from true. RHA will expand abortion past 24 weeks through birth, make abortion a 'fundamental right,' and prohibit all limits, which Roe vs. Wade did *not* do," New York State Right to Life said in a Facebook post.

Christina Fadden, chair of New York State Right to Life explained further, "RHA has expanded abortion-on-demand in New York past 24 weeks – well past when unborn children feel pain, are viable, and suffer during the course of an abortion – and up to birth. This is inhumane."

When I look at democrats in NYS and NYC, I wish I could abort up to age 60.

So Baby Mario is now Baby Himmler. But not as nice.

Think bad thoughts for our governor.
The worse the better!

A country is judged by how they treat the most vulnerable of citizen.

When the most innocent is at risk due to government then no one is truly safe and we all are equally vulnerable.

What happened in NY should send chills up the spine of every American.

I cannot believe my place of birth has devolved into this Facist state. But 60 years of mostly Democrat/liberal government, plus an indifferent and weak GOP has allowed this to happen. Shame on all of them.

May God save New York and save America.

I’ve boycotted NY for years. My wife’s family lives upstate. They visit us. I try to never spend a dime there.

The door has been blown wide open:

What Is Different?

According to the Times Union, under New York’s previous, 49-year-old law, illegal abortions that took place within the third trimester of pregnancy were categorized as felonies. Those who committed one could receive up to seven years in prison. The Buffalo News reports that, under the old law, late-term abortions were only permitted if they were necessary to save the life of the mother. The new law, however, allows abortions after 24 weeks if they are deemed necessary, not merely to save the mother’s life but also to protect her health.

The RHA gets rid of any definition of abortion as a criminal act, categorizing it instead within public health law. The bill also removes some limits on who can perform an abortion. In addition to licensed physicians, now other medical professionals, such as nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse midwives, can perform one.

According to the new law, these professionals will rely on their “reasonable and good faith professional judgment based on the facts of the patient’s case” in order to decide whether to perform an abortion.

Another notable aspect of the new bill is that in its explanation of homicide, a “person” is defined as “a human being who has been born and is alive.”

The Law’s Impact

Opponents of the bill have a number grave concerns about it, says the Buffalo News. The primary one is that people will broadly interpret the term “health” to include mental and emotional health, significantly increasing the number of late-term abortions in New York. [...]

Another example of liberals being complete immoral assholes. I'd ask them this.....if you're allowing abortion at birth, why not just wait till their 3rd or 4th BIRTHday? By then perhaps you'll know what kind of human being they're turning out to be. Does it have conservative tendencies, or believe in God?
I saw how stupid democrats were in NY when they elected crooked shithead Hillary to the senate way back when. They've only gotten dumber.

I'm not sure if this is red-card worthy. You're not attacking a specific forum member, but a whole group...I think it's OK, because the liberals around here have very unkind things to say about conservatives as a whole, many times over, so no red card.

Hey, what can go wrong??

What really got to me was watching the reaction of the law makers as they laughed, cheered and high fiveing each other. No matter anyone's opinion of abortion, how is it something to cheer and celebrate? I know several women who have gone down that road and they don't celebrate the anniversary of their abortion. And Hillary thought we were deplorable.

The law makers in NYS are deplorable, OS sub-humans.
Half are under indictments and the other half under investigation.

Seriously NYS is a cesspool. Those who run it are not like normal hua beings.
THe Mafia is no longer because it could not compete with this bunch.
