What is wrong with Collinsworth?
I watching the game Sunday night and Collinsworth is praising New England's excellent DB Aquim Talib (sp?) all night long, which was fine. But at one point he starts talking about Talib's troubled past and how amazing it is that once a guy gets into New England and Belichick's system all his past troubles seem to disappear.
I couldn't believe what I heard, did the guy forget Aaron Hernandez is in jail for who knows how many murders? Al Michaels was probably looking at him like he had 3 heads.

Some people are just ridiculous. If Collinsworth had half a brain he would have also brought up that Talib signed a one year deal in the off season. He will stay out of trouble this year, get a monster contract and then who knows what. There is already talk in Philadelphia about them throwing big money at him once the season concludes. I'm sure they won't be the only suitors.
Classic reaction when he broke up the play to end the game Sunday night.

The NFL has become a league of trash talking, in yo face poorly educated players. Where is the upside ? Rich young men with a following of what?? hangers on ? The league is aptly referred to (by some) as the NFL- National Felons League !!!

speaking of which, did you read where Lewis and Suggs are blaming the SB blackout on Goodell wanting SF to win. You can't teach stupid like that. You just have to want it more than the next guy ...

I thought I was going to die from laughter when I read that. You have out done yourself in getting the truth out. Can I borrow those lines?

I will stick up for Cris on this one....Even though I understand he overlooked Hernandez....which is an obvious error. He is a good dude and he works very hard at being a solid TV NFL commentator. I think we can agree that he has suceeded in that regard....... no one bats 1000. Certainly not horseplayers! He probably should have said that many players with checkered pasts the Pats have acquired over the years seem to " toe the line" once they get there.

I don't really care for any of that "side" stuff. Half the time it sounds like they are kissing someone elses ass. What does any of it have to do with the game at hand? If half of it were true or meant something, i'd get it. At least in the old days you knew they were sloshed by the 3rd quarter and shooting the sh!t. But c'mon these guys are football players not choir boys. There is a certain element of violent, troubled people on EVERY TEAM, coaches system has nothing to do with it...blowing hot air, bull crap. Listen closely to the garbage thats spewed and you will laugh during every game. There is a certain percentage of these players that without football would be "great" felons....some are while they play the game and make millions. Some would make great mercenaries or soldiers too. Its a freaking job, like any other job. Do you live the way your boss tells you to? Does your boss have a great system? Laughable at best, even funnier when you listen to how people eat crap up, off that little idiot box.
