I think I wager more per year on Hong Kong and Japan racing then i do American racing... Your ROI is statistically higher.
I'm a huge advocate of structuring the race dates, so we can have more full horse fields...
Like close down tracks like Arlington, Golden Gate, to name a few with there 5 horse fields.
I want action with my gambling funds to hit something with a large ROI... I don't want to spend $50 to make $10 etc. I look at it like this from a sports bettor also... If I wanted to make small returns that are almost locks I'd bet on a basketball game(North Carolina -750 playing Boston College) instead of wagering on a horse thats 2/5 racing against 6 other horses. Just stating an example
Or I'd rather bet a sports parlay instead of spending 5x as much playing exotics in horse racing.
This is the mindset of youth bettors like myself have.
I mean racing secretaries could structure races to create 12 to 16 horse fields... Racing Secretaries are so damn lazy. People would be coming to the track more. Its also a blast watching large horse fields.
