Next stop for Social Inclusion........
Per the connections it will be the Preakness Stakes on Saturday May 17th. Very smart move by the connections to take the much needed time and work the horse correctly for the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown series. Good luck the rest of the way!
"If we can make the Derby, we're going to go, but I think the main goal is the Preakness," Sanchez said. "It was the original plan. It's going to be tough to be in the Derby, you know? Actually, we are in spot 22 with 20 points, and there are like four preps coming up. It wasn't our main goal to get into the Derby, but we gave it a try."

Can we give them credit for being 'smart' when we know that if the horse finished 2nd, he would be going to the Derby and the entire 'tune' would change? Its nice to spin it that it "wasnt their main goal' but if the horse finished 2nd, they would be going to the Derby without it being their 'main goal'.
Allegedly.

After the wood I don't see a lot of success for this one at distance. That being said, the Preakness because of its length and fondness for speed is the only race this horse has a chance to win.

Look at the work tab the trainer got the horse sprint ready with the final workout at GP very poor paddock and gate manners combined with a loading issue on the 9 in the Wood. What was wrong with the distance? Oh post 11, got it

I don't have a problem with trying the Preakness, but it still feels kind of rushed.
If he was mine I might look for a couple of easier races now with the Haskell in mind later this year.

I like the Haskell for this horse but i also think the Preakness would be a real good fit.

SI will set the pace in the Preakness........should be a full field at Pimlico unless Chrome wins easily in the derby.

It looks as if the trainer is going to work him a bit longer than 3/8ths in the am. Very smart move to get a decent bottom into him before the Preakness.

Is it too late to take that 75% buy offer?
Bummer that 11 post and a half a foot at finish keeps them from Derby

They rejected another offer after the Wood. They don't need the money, that's a good thing.

It doesn't surprise me that they are still getting offers. The horse ran quite well in the Wood for only his 3rd start given the way he was used early while wide from an outside post.
