If Aqueduct runs from September to late-November on their two turf courses, I expect this to be an incredible meet for NYRA and suddenly have a tremendous interest in this fall season.

I'm really looking forward to the Aqueduct thing. I think it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Aqueduct relive its former days of glory- there was a time when it was literally the best and most important track in the country. I may fly out and attend a card; it should be a lot of fun.

There was a time in my life I went to AQU by bus in the most extreme winter weather conditions they could run under (which was pretty extreme back in those days). Now, I can barely muster the enthusiasm to go even if I own a piece of a horse that is running. I believe the purses will be Belmont level (as least for awhile), there will still be some good weather, and the best barns should hang around for awhile. That should help AQU's handle relative to the typical winter months when the quality declines.

The Aqueduct November meet has been sensational for the last few years. Churchill not having turf will help to a certain extent, it's certainly not a bad thing for us, but hard to know who will actually ship.

I can remember attending an Aqueduct "summer" meeting prior to the Saratoga ship, although cannot remember the year - it had to be somewhere in the early-to-mid-70s. Thrilled to have the chance to see Aqueduct again in the nice weather of the Autumn season.

Living in Louisville my lawnmower and I can assure everyone we've had plenty enough rain for lawns to flourish, even Churchill's.
They overshot the drainage issue imo, maybe the organic compose will help but I doubt it.
