Perhaps because they would not be profitable under the current administration?

If itís your property, why do you have to pay for a room?
$60 a day for food for one person is excessive. Try Applebys or Cracker Barrel. Go to McDonaldís for Breakfast and pack a lunch. Stop being an entitled ÖÖ

Even comparing 2021 with 2020, oil production is down 8 tenths of 1 percent. Put another way, oil production in 2021 was 99.2% of what it was in 2020. Compared to 2019, production was only 91.1% in 2021
Oil production in 2021 was 102.25% of 2018.
Finally in 2021 oil production was 20% higher than in 2017, Trumps first year in office.

You used a tweet and now you are not using the government numbers correctly, because you are STUPID, proper use of statistics go over your head. How can you have the STUPIDITY to compare numbers 4 years apart after seeing the obvious fact the trend is yearly increases? Add up 2020 and compare it to 2021 you will see a yearly drop of 1%. Since the need for oil increased quite a bit in that one year span a drop of 1% is very significant.

Why don't you go somewhere where you can appear intelligent instead of stupid. I just wonder where the hell you get off thinking you are a know it all,
when I don't think there is anyone here who knows as little subjects that are useful as you do.

If Trump proved one thing it was to show how easy it was to create a great economy. The people running things today (its not Brandon) are tanking the economy on purpose.

Exactly. He had no experience...but plenty in business. Trump definitely rattled the cages of "Government Officials" and "Leaders". It is absolutely mind-numbing to think that there are so many people who despise him for shining light on how pathetic our Government is.

It is bind boggling, someone with a career in government should have little input when it comes to decisions that will effect businesses as their detachment from reality knows no bounds. I will never forget Jen Psaki implying businesses would be considered immoral if they passed on tax increases to customers.

If government runs inefficiently they just raise the debt and or raise taxes.
If a business is run inefficiently and unless they have a monopoly a price raise will cause their competition to start taking their customers, and that begins their death spiral.

Our economy raises other economys just like all groups inside our country. Many do not see it but this president is picking winners and losers. He is keeping restaurants inside our country down, and at the same time helping the cruse ships industry. If your into eating the cruse ships get better food (top quality). So you look at numbers from the top ten multinationals and say with a straight face that globalist are not paying off the right people. What was Biden worth when he was a junior Senator?

At the risk of returning to the OP topic, regular gas today in Phoenix was $5.55 or more. I drove by one big convenience store with a couple dozen pumps that showed it at $5.99, but it had zero customers. I saw premium gas at a couple of places for $6.19.

Stop lying, Cliffy.
What is sad is that you didnít even understand what my post was about. My post was a refutation of your claim that gasoline sales increased from 2020 to 2021. Here are the facts from the link in my post.

22,800.8 23,314.2 18,507.6 12,367.5 15,628.3 19,072.7 20,558.5 20,619.1 20,467.9 20,680.7 19,034.8 18,695.8
2021 18,090.5 18,488.8 20,058.9 20,827.2 12,225.7 4,943.8 4,836.4 4,802.0 4,708.1 4,584.5 4,548.5 4,435.9
2022 5,305.1 5,585.4 5,493.2

Looking month by month, you can see that Americans consumed more gasoline in 2020 than in 2021 in every month except March and April.

What you fail to comprehend is that both in barrels of oil produced and gallons of gasoline consumed, the figures shown are barrels/gallons per day. You canít just add the numbers and come up with any sensible resultt.

Stop lying, Cliffy.
Let me explain it to you again. Those are thousands of barrels per day. You canít just add them. You also canít compare barrels with gallons. And you canít compare crude oil with refined gasoline.
