I haven't ordered again through PABETS, I'm waiting for someone who ordered it from them to tell me that it's actually working. CJ provides good customer service but after him no one seems to care.

I was told it was fixed but I have no way to verify it myself.

I was waiting to hear it was resolved myself before making any more purchases. I would have liked to use it for taking a stab at the Rainbow today but just threw some darts and hoping for the best.

It seems like there's a disconnect between Equibase and the betting sites like PABETS. If you have a problem with Timeform PPs, PABETS says to contact Equibase and Equibase says to contact PABETS.

Equibase is responsible for the data itself. If you see a data error they are the ones to contact. Otherwise there isn't going to be much they can do.

I have been corresponding with Catherine Goodenow at equibase and after verifying my purchase she said I will get a refund in the next 2-4 days. I hope all is well now because we have some good 3yr old races coming this weekend that will require my attention.

I get a lot of questions on how all the various figures work together, hopefully this will help:

I'll also be doing a podcast later today (11:30 am ET) where we'll talk about these ratings some along with the Pegasus, Gun Runner versus Arrogate, timing issues, etc.

It will be archived later today here if you don't catch it live:

logged in, saw the time count-down to 11:30, but I'm seeing 'Off Air'.

I'll keep trying, and if I miss it, I'll watch the archive version. Thanks

Can you clarify if I am understanding this clearly

Here’s how Adjusted Fractions work: TimeformUS Speed Figures effectively adjust horses’ final times based on the speed of the racetrack. Official fractions don’t account for the speed of the racetrack, so you’re left with the same problem you would have if you used raw final times without also using speed figures to help assess them. Smart horseplayers know that track speed changes.

So the pace figures that are shown in Formulator are not adjusted for the speed of the track? Or are you saying they are adjusted, using whatever the variant is for the final time, but in Timeform PP's, if one chooses, can have a different variant used for each fraction?

Pace Figures in Formulator are the same as they are in TimeformUS (minus weight adjustments if that setting is turned on in TimeformUS) and they are adjusted for the speed of the track. At times the variant is the same around the track, other times it is not. But the products are consistent.

I do not know what has been going on with Timeform US lately. First, the website crashes. Then today at Tampa, they were off the turf, but Timeform did not indicate as such and did not change the pace projector. Tonight at Penn, the check marks are missing. Very frustrating.
