I stringently take the side that the facts point to. Preliminary evidence is that more existing jobs will be eliminated than new jobs created. The installation of solar panels is labor intensive, the manufacture is highly automated. Higher prices mean less demand. Tariffs on washers will make US products more competitive. How much more remains to be seen.
And all evidence is that the impact on consumers will be negative. No one has presented any up-side here.
So I see the results as fewer jobs, higher prices for consumers, and short term increases in stock prices. Any other "positive repercussions"?

Those big clunky solar panels are a thing of the past, they have a new method that are small strips of flexible tape that
are applied to existing glass windows any homeowner is able to apply.Or glass sky scraper. No need to cut down forests or have acres of panels.
The future is now, made in America.
