So I guess BEL P6 C/O rolls over to AQU?

Well there's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Capped the BEL card for the C/O.

Press release doesn't even mention the Pick 6, just the canceled stake races carrying over.

I wonder if there's any chance, or interest, in NYRA being able to make this a guaranteed to payout pick 6 as well. Closing day w payout mandatory always helps add to a pool's total, which would benefit them & players, but the lure of a potential 3 day carryover is probably more attractive to NYRA, who knows how much wiggle room exists for this decision though.

They should roll it over to Sunday. I'll have way too much tied up in the BC races on Fri and Sat.

The NYRA rules are that the pool is to be carried over to the next Belmont meet. That is why they will ask the commission for permission to carry it over to Aqueduct opening day.

It was pretty obvious they were going to cancel today. I got a few texts from friends yesterday asking what would happen if there was a carryover during yesterday's card. So if bettors knew, I would imagine someone at NYRA could see it coming too.

That said, I doubt there was much they could do. You can't just make up new rules as you go and give out the whole pool on Saturday. Asking for it to be paid out on opening day at Aqueduct seems like a fair option IMO.

They should just keep the money and add it to purses to help the game
