The collateral damage of this may have incurred many more unnecessary deaths.
Blaming Benghazi on that stupid video probably incited Muslims in other locales to cause increased bloodshed.

Not to mention, I read for days from various sources after the event about the chilling effects that freedom of speech can have. About how our first amendment needed to be scrutinized if it can be used as a justification for inciting riotous mayhem and resulting deaths. You know, the old Bush-era "using a national tragedy to erode our civil liberties" argument, except the exact opposite in this case.
It's difficult to make a comparison of the attack on the Twin Towers to anything else without drawing shrieks just on the merit of a comparison. But, I have wondered if that tragedy had been blamed on irate passengers that had enough of baggage fees for days on end before we finally were told what we already knew if people would still be mad at me for "making it political" if I objected to being fed bullshit once we heard the flight recordings.

In an interview on CBS the following day Obama said this was probably spurred by a few individual terrorists. Why the picking here? So much emphasize on him having a perfect characterization of this the day after it happened?

Why?
Because a tremendous amount of deception has taken place here as the Administration tried to displace the blame on to the video and the producer of the video.
Because it was described as a sponaneous demonstration rather than a planned attack by Muslim terrorists
Because blaming the video gave it legs and triggered bloodshed in other Muslim regions.
Because they knew that these were not protesters, but Muslim terrorists.
Apparently the WH had information relayed back to them by a drone and by e mails.
Because they underestimated the risk of the Ambassador and ignored his pleas for more security.

Tawk about a smoking gun. We now have emails that go straight to the State Dept AND the situation room in the WH, stating CLEARLY it was led by al-Qaeda within 2 hours of the massacre.
I get it. When the email came to the WH, JZ & thick thighs were parkin' their cans in the SituRoom.

This the Internet, I'm pretty sure there is some kind of Internet rule requiring people to do so at least once.

I never type on me phone. I ONLY talk to text. It will do that sometimes if it think you've just ended a sentence.
As for jognloop, she posts frequently about sub's she clearly has no clue about. If anything, I'm trying to encourage her to get better informed.
