2-8-1-7 Dutch Loss 98% Profit Margin / $24.30 Quinella & $401.80 Triple BX / Heavy late action on the Winner / Early selections had it ALL!
It turned out to be another fun and profitable card. Hitting 3 out 5 Dutch Win bets produced a Profit margin of 32%. There were also some nice Verticals from the Quinellas and Triples with some decent value that made it worthwhile!.

Hong Kong Racing Recap
Date: October 16, 2019
Track: Happy Valley
Bias: Closers
Horses to watch for list:
Race 103
Dancing Fighter (65) In his second race after the summer break in which he ran second as the betting favourite going 5 furlongs at Sha Tin, now was trying a turn for the first time and drew in when the high weight Joyful Union was scratched. Unfortunately, he drew Joyful Union's ten post with the short run to the crooked turn, down the backside he sat right off the leader My Ally but was forced to go three wide into the turn without any cover. Midway in the turn he drew even with the front runner while the eventual winner Shining Ace was sitting right behind the leaders saving ground on the rail, at the 100 metre mark he couldn't hold off the winner and was beaten by a half-length. Hopefully he will catch a track more suited to his liking.
Race 104
High Rev (75) He broke well and settled in the rear of the pack in his normal running position and with the way the track was playing that night was where you wanted to be at. Heading into the turn for home Purton moved him off the rail to the two path, then shifted even further out to the fourth lane entering the stretch and was full of run. After a couple crosses and a touch by the stick he drew off away from the rest of the field without any exertion and was under a stranglehold under the wire. He will carry 10 more pounds next time out but should be able to handle without much difficulty.
Horse to avoid next time out:
None

HONG KONG HAPPY VALLEY - WED - 10/30/19
Good morning to everyone interested in the best racing product on the planet!
Im posting my pre-race selections for another very competitive card that looks to offer some decent value. There are 8 races at Happy Valley all to be run on Turf:
(from top Class to bottom) (3)-Class-3, (4)-Class-4, (1)-Class-5
Post Time Race #1 7:15 AM WED EST
Ive taken a look at the M/Ls in combination with the early odds and used a unique static tote analysis to come up with the preliminary picks for each race. Later, the Live tote analysis will certainly shed more light on these and any others I might have missed.
The latest tote action (by 4 mins. to post) may reveal some things that cause final substitutions among the Top 3 picks from the Bottom 3 picks. However, the overall picks generally look fairly decent for some nice Quinella & Tri scores.
BTW the Top 3 picks have continued to produce some nice Dutch Win returns when the combined odds produce Profit Margins higher ^ than 50%. When I cant make a Dutch Win bet Ill generally pay more attention to the Quinellas and perhaps even a Triple play if the combined odds values of the selected entries add up to decent return.
Good Luck if youre playing!

11-1-10-7 Dutch Loss 58% Profit Margin /
It was a pretty tough card with some very close calls. My Dutch Win bets produced an O.A. Loss margin of 41% and was caused by winning only 1 of 4 playable races. Also hit were a few decent Quinellas (3) nice size Triples (3).

The latest tote action (by 4 mins. to post) may reveal some things that cause final substitutions among the Top 3 picks from the Bottom 3 picks. However, the overall picks generally look fairly decent for some nice Quinella & Tri scores.Quite a few of the races this morning look wide open!

That's what its ALL about! Looks like a decent card too!
I'll probably be updating a lot of my early selections because the early action looks very stable right now.
