Way to read a weather forecast guys, Friday should be just great, was going to go but yeesh...

Read a weather forecast? I'm sure they wrote extras that often never fill, as the original condition books are written weeks in advance. The Friday card was drawn on SUNDAY.
Rain happens. Ellis and Indy have been off the turf quite a bit, too. Get over it.

The only reason he isn't the most ridiculous poster in this thread is Replay Randall posting after him. Now THAT is a horse race!

I, for one, am glad he's here...along with Vic, and mountainman, and some other insiders that check in once in a while.

This is message board bullshit. Poor??? Seriously? Nowhere close. The weather has hurt it, no doubt, but it has hardly been poor.

15 percent – Pick 6... 24 percent - Pick 6 (Carryover days)
jokes aside, the shit where they raise the takeout to 24% on carryover pick 6 is an awful gut punch.
It's a blemish.
It looks greedy and exploitative on the surface.
The Pick 6 itself is occasionally a beautiful blessing as a gambling opportunity.
Possibility of a score is the thing.
Yet not to be dismissed - there are other beautiful things about the pick 6.
You have this thing where the probability is low and randomness is higher while at the same time you're getting this exponential gain in potential insight and knowledge for a skilled horseplayer that has also diligently put in the work.
You may have five watch lists for essentially a single venue's horse population. You start to know the major models, and you also start to notice the little things.
Multi-race wagers may seem like they require less skill than the vertical exotics, because you only have to pick the winners.
That's funny in itself.
 " only" ?? !
You guys get it. Picking winners can obviously be challenging and rewarding.

It's a false narrative on Twitter. The Takeout was lowered on non-carryover days. I guess we should have left it higher all the time. Or maybe we should go back to having a Jackpot.
It's truly amazing.

Just for PR and marketing purposes they're better off making it a 17% or 18% takeout wager all the time.
