Ken Rudulph: What a Asshole
Yesterday Ken Rudulph tweeted out one of the stupidest comments ever on a social media platform.
Here is word for word what he wrote.
“Horse racing needs to stop pretending and just be what it is.
It’s a great combo of WWE/reality TV/sports with a healthy dose of BS on the side.
It’s a great game. Cheating is a part of it. Death is part of it. Losing is part of it.
Winning makes it all worthwhile. 😊”
This morning he was told to apologize for his comments and he did so.
“Monday evening I made a mistake and used a very poor choice of words to make what I hoped would be a compelling thought regarding horse racing. I apologize to my colleagues and the industry for my lack of proper forethought. I truly felt you all would have the open dialogue with me. I will find a better way in the future.”
There’s only one reason why he still has his job today, anyone else would have been canned immediately.

Not that bad. I can see how his employer would make him apologize though

Yeah, I really don't understand the problem with what he wrote.
TracksideTalk has been basically saying the same thing ever since he started posting here (as have a bunch of other people)....no?

no one really cares what any ot these guys say. i like the Fox show for Saratoga for 2 reasons, first they give great closeups of the horses on the racetracks and Jonathon Kinchen wears the greatest shirts. the feed from TVG or Fanduel or whatever it is or will be flat out sucks, so they are pretty worthless. but if you still chose to listen to them, you might want to play close attention to their selections on their pick bets and make sure you bet against them, i guarantee you will do a lot better in the long run using that asset.

It seems that horse racing can't handle the truth. 
I suppose horse racing would be a lot better off if all its problems were swept under the rug...

If by "personal stalker" you mean moderator and fellow board contributor that replies to threads he finds interesting that land on top of the "NEW POSTS" function...then by all means...guilty as charged
Nice deflection though...but it's been used countless times on here by people better than you over the past 24+ years of this board's existence.
So the effect wears off almost instantly now. Sorry.

Why do you have a problem with what Ken wrote?
From what you've written in your brief life here, I would have never thought you'd call Ken an asshole for writing what he wrote.

shouldn’t a moderator be impartial ? you’ve made it quite obvious that you’re not
really enjoy the backhanded insult “people better than you”
my guess is you’ve never been a boss in the real world & your lunch money was taken from you in school
so this forum is a place where you can feel powerful

why I called him a asshole is simple
he’s been in racing for years and he should have realized what he wrote wasn’t “correct” for someone in his position
obviously his employer thought he was wrong and they made him apologize first thing today
only weird thing is you but as I said keep on being you

99% of horse racings problems are swept under the carpet…
