If you've seen it I'd like to hear your comments. I don't know how anyone could even think of this "story".

Saw what you wrote and am grabbing a copy as we well not speak.
FTR the craziest movie I ever saw, and it was good, but lawd it was crazed was Visitor Q. Japanese movie. Same director I also saw his horror movie, can't think of the name, was also insane.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290329/
warning do not watch this movie with people with values, etc lol. Crazy but it did have meaning, it was a reaction to reality TV that we all now live in.

Yeah, I've seen that. Took two times watching but is interesting. You have to listen as much as watch.

JoJo Rabbit - went into this one not really knowing what to expect, and came away thinking it was the best movie I'd seen in a really long time. VERY well done...a truly original take on a topic that has been covered in an infinite number of ways to date. A must see in my book.

Found knives Out way overrated. Daniel craig's accent was just bizzare. and the way his character ordered rich people and cops around, despite having little or no official status, reminded me of an old episode of Mannix.
Worst of all, the movie's absolute OBSESSION with political correctness made the outcome ohhh sooooo predictable.
Had not intended to try Jo Jo Rabbit, but now might give it a whirl.

Watched unsung gem entitled The Duelists last night. Wow. Keith Carradine and the great Harvey Keitel ROCK as Napoleanic officers whose political differences provide fateful context for the series of duels they fought over a trivial grievance. True story, too.
If you've never seen it, I envy you the experience.

Found a streaming channel called Movieland TV has some really good flicks on it... commercial free.
Watched The Sting and Thunderbolt and Lightfoot the other day.
See they have The Great Escape, The Sand Pebble and Pale Rider which I'll likely view soon. About 200 movies on it right now.
I found it thru Roku... just thought I'd share

I saw that years ago based on the hype.
Thought it failed miserably to live up to said hype. Same with MIDSOMMAR

I've been binge-watching the TV series Poirot, starring David Suchet. It sure beats losing my money at Fonner Park and Will Rogers Downs.

I just seen this movie last week (sub titled, not dubbed, I hate dubbed)
How in the heck can you actually make a full length movie out of the story it was about. Well they did. Talk about wacked out!
I mean, without giving anything away, when the movie opens, The first thought I had was...Where the heck is this 10 star restaurant, he must have had 20 chefs he managed? Believe me, has nothing to do with a restaurant.
Then it gets CRAZy
I don't know how I held on without stopping it, but I was glad I did. I love coming across movies that are totally different than the usual. I am still working on the purpose, or the moral, of the story.
It's not for everyone, but I am glad I watched through.
