Watched the latest Indiana Jones installment tonight...

It was one of the few worthy sequels in this franchise (I know, I know...not a very high bar, but what are you going to do?)

It was actually damn good in my opinion...despite being 2.5 hours long.

I rewatched one of my favorite Paul Newman movies yesterday and recommend if you haven't watched...The Young Philadelphians.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter took a fresh angle on the novel. This Dracula raises the bar for animalistic blood lust. Forget the urbane Lugosi and think Jeepers Creepers meets Nosferatu. More dialogue from the creature would definitely have kicked things up as clearly it considered itself a god and held humanity in vicious contempt. Spoiler alert: The grizzled crew's inexplicable failure to grab some stakes and conduct daylight searches of the merely medium sized ship more than strains credulity. Instead they resign themselves early on to becoming vamp food, even spreading out to sleep at night each isolated in some distant musty chamber of the ship.

Don't waste your time on The Boogeyman. It's a psychological take on grief and loss that masquerades as a horror film. Trope ridden and few scares.

I watched The Equalizer 3 about a week ago. A major disappointment, even for a Denzel fan like myself.

THe Young Philadelphia's best line: "I'm a chilli girl myself"

Good accounting of himself in that movie: "The Man for Uncle," Robert Vaughn

Tom Hanks son (Truman Hanks) did well in that role.
