An S 8, or assuming a 'plodder' with top speed points doesn't really make sense.

E0, E1 and E2 do not suggest chase and fade. E means generally Early. The number tallies the early forwardly positions in the last 3 races... up to 5 races if some races have a bye, earning 0 to 8 points for the 3 ratable races. 1 point is automatic, but can be wiped out to become 0. Nothing about running style or speed points has anything to do with fade; it's all about early.
