I can get a little frustrated when I see occasional individuals call for retirement of horses as young as 7 who've been running relatively competitively - just because of their age. (Not speaking about anyone here to my knowledge.)
Then some of those frustrations melt away when I see a race like this - 11 year old Tiger Roll, the two time winner of the Grand National and 4 time winner at previous Cheltenham festivals, successfully jumps 32 obstacles of various configurations, navigating right and left turns, and defeats 12 opponents - 9 of them younger.
