I think we enter Belmont with another shot at a Triple Crown.

It was a fast pace and all but he was on a good rail and no one did any closing, plus thats a hard race.
He looks like a cinch on paper but feels like it might be a tough spot, we will see.

Who actually shows up? Have to think Pletcher will skip it with his best. Chad Brown said after the race he wouldn’t be looking to try Justify again right away.
Lukas will probably enter a 300-1 shot and the rest might be PARX allowance horses.

That’s how it looked to me. I thought Good Magic has a real nice shot at the top of the lane but Justify went on with little urging

OK. But the half was the 3rd fastest ever. And he kept 19 others behind him.
I do think the mud benefits front runners hugely these days. I don’t know if this is new or what but I cannot remember the last time I saw a muddy horse win.

yea, it was also an inside track so that hurt mud closers as well.
I dont want to be down on the horse, cause that was awesome, but I think there are a few red flags in terms of "unbeatable" talk that is gonna happen the next two weeks.

Certainly the hype will be huge. I think he is beatable. Just not sure anyone who can do it will show up in Baltimore.

Justify looked better winning the derby than American Pharaoh, my opinion tho.

I think Hofburg will be formidable soon. Perhaps he doesn't have enough natural speed but he may turn out to be good.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't win the Preakness. Not so sure about the Belmont. That's a lot of racing in a short amount of time for any horse.

I'll be shocked if the Preakness isn't a walkover.

Have to watch the replay.
Have to see who is going to Baltimore and how they are progressing.
Justify is a once-in-a-generation talent, but this is a great crop and this may have been a hard race (sloppy, fast fractions, contested turn/stretch).

Justify will be really tough in the Preakness. Especially if no speed signs on to race against him.
Good Magic took his best shot at him, and could't get to him today. Audible might be able to get to him with a better trip, but I'd probably wait for the Belmont with him to take another shot.
Have to take today's track into consideration as well. Heavy rail bias, and he didn't take any mud in his face.
He is beatable, but it will take a huge effort to do it.
