Mandatory Equipment
Black masks should be mandatory for the jockeys at Turf Paradise.

Pete,
Maybe "ski mask" is more appropriate?

who needs Turf Paradise?
With a video feed that remains in the 1970's era, how could you tell which jockey did which bad thing anyhow?
Send a guy up with an old grease rag or two, have him wipe the lenses on those old cameras......that'd be a start....
We are living in the techno age where, if you can enjoy crystal clear video images from Australia, France, England and New York, and Keeneland....other tracks should update. Its not a matter of a whole lotta money, I really think someone with a very good smart phone camera, shock-mounted to steady the thing, could provide better views than we are getting from tracks like Turf Paradise and others...(you others know who you are)
While we're onna subject, clean up those on screen feeds as well, like when the horses come out, instead of seeing them better we're seeing one half screen taken up with 'will-pays' who watches 'will-pays' anymore....you can see the win place show pools on your computer program, broken down into % for you even (twinspires)....don't need ugly 'will-pay' screens anymore, c'mon get outta the dark ages. Whatta rant!

I think it was 2010 at Fonner Park, we looked at the same fingerprint smudge, on the same camera, for the whole meet.

Jerry Simms won't sink a cent into that place. It sure isn't the Turf I remember before he took over. Hell Hollywood Park once owned the joint!
