How much are you betting on Bolt?

And just like St.Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo (date of this year's Derby) is a drinking day!

He lost to Hard Spun by 5 3/4 lengths. I loved Curlin, but he was a short horse in the Derby.

If I remember he had a little bit of traffic as well. I think this is Justifys biggest obstacle, not talent, but foundation.

If there has been one it hasn't been in the ~35 years I've been following.

Actually Justify and Mendelssohn kinda remind me of the first fight in Rocky 3.

Justify is Rocky the paper favorite. Getting race set ups to protect him like Rocky was getting fights against over the hill fighters to protect him. And Mendelssohn is Clubber Lang. Justify is training doing his media photo ops in his protected environment in sunny California while they got Mendelssohn training overseas probably in Siberia hooked up to semi trucks pulling them across frozen highways lol

White Star Line in 1978.

I had to look it up, though...I thought you were asking not quizzing...

Interesting career. Started in February and won her first 6 races including the KY Oaks. Seemed to detest Belmont Park as she tanked in all 3 races of the Triple Tiara. Went right back to winning in the summer taking both the Test and the Alabama just days apart and adding in the Delaware Oaks a couple of weeks later.

Hit another road block at Belmont and couldn't beat her elders before calling it quits in December of the same year. For an unraced 2yo, she was really put through the wringer making 18 starts. Her final 2 starts were just 6 days apart...

Coincidentally, her grand daughter, Musis Amica, owned by Godolphin, just won a Group race in France 2 weeks ago and I presume is among the favorites for both the French 1000 Guineas and the French Oaks.
