The state governors shut businesses down, then opened them back up, what does that have to do with the president?

Trump wasn’t all that great before the pandemic.only twice in 2017, 2018 and 2019 did he add more than 300,000 jobs in a month. And his average off 173,000 was the lowest of any president since 1993 except for recession years.
Some random dummy is sure to come along and say Biden is only replacing jobs lost to the pandemic. First of all, many of those jobs were lost because Trump failed to respond to the crisis in a timely manner. The governors were forced to act because of the President’s incompetence. Second, Biden finished replacing lost COVID jobs in July 2022. Since then, the economy has continued to grow at a rate of 254,000 jobs per month. 80,000 better than Trump’s best years.

Trump wasn't the one who forced businesses to shut down. That prize goes to all the blue state moron governors like Gretchen (who got SOUNDLY BOOED at the NFL Draft which was hilarious) and the now disgraced Cuomo in NY...among LOTS of others....

So net effect, he added nothing to citizens. And those that had jobs now have LESS spending power than under Trump.
There is no metric that Biden is acceptable at, let alone better than Trump.
The only shot Biden has is if you compare him to CARTER!
And even then, Carter is the favorite.

Let me try to explain this so even you can understand. When the pandemic started, Trump insisted that it wasn’t serious. That it would be over in a few weeks. While he limited entry from China, he failed to figure out that people from Europe could also be infected. Even when it became obvious that there was great danger he downplayed the problem because he didn’t want to look bad.
The governors did what needed to be done and saved hundreds of thousands of lives.
Gretchen Whitmet was twice elected Governor of Michigan by margins of 10% plus. A few meathead Lion’s fans booing her means nothing.
