Nike's new Tiger ad
Do you guys like Nike's new spot showing Tiger blinking while listerning to his late father's voice? Supposed to be edgy, and it is, but also a bit tasteless to me.

Some companies have no shame.

what's funny in a sad way is tiguh and most all the others say "leave my family alone" UNTIL I can USE them to rehab MY image that is.
gutless crass and low class.
However, it has nothing to do with golf, they need him and he is fun to follow, long as he doesn't rape or kill someone he's no worse than a bunch of banksters and hasn't acted any more immorally or done more damage than those upstanding role models.
As to Nike , any pub is good, don't expect morality out of corps, that's not their thing.

Just watched it for the first time. I feel like I need to wash my hands. It feels dirty.

This was genius on the part of Nike. This is all that's being talked about on sports radio and is getting tons of pub everywhere. Why Tiger agreed to it is another question entirely.

If you think that Tiger's exploits and his personal life can be separated from his life as a professional athlete then you likely think poorly of the ad.
But, if you think you can not separate the two aspects of his life then you likely see the ad as a good one.

can the dude that runs Nike have a personal life? can that personal life stop you from investing in their shares?
non issue.
performance in your biz is what matters.
the rest is water cooler fluff.
"GOLF" was a back-page story without him. If you think the "interests" give a hoot about where the money came from when they cash their checks, you are a little starry eyed.
O and that Master dude that ranted on tiguh for disappointing in regards to women and role-model and all.
Just who can join that ol August club anyways.
Another false raving hypocrite on the loose, that dude should be put down for his own sake , he sounded ultra-silly.
Hell the only reason for golf is to get away from the "little lady" and spin tall tales of conquest and drink beer.
P.s. can arnie's "army" (double meaning there for sure) be separated?
Seems to have been that way for decades.
Oh, you DIDN'T KNOW THAT...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Chris Rock said it best......."you can stop chasing the _____, but when it chases you, YOU CAN'T RUN THAT FAST!"
I hope Tiger wins by 10 strokes, meets the cart girl in Hootie Johnson's office for a romp, then heads off on a jaunt to the strip club with Jordan and Barkley.
And I hope the cart girl claims she thinks she is the only one, and gets 50K from TMZ for telling the story.
Which most of us cattle will watch.
What is the fascination with public figures lives outside of what they do well? I don't care if Tiger is a good dad or husband. I don't even want his autograph.
He's a really good golfer, though, and I do want to see him play so we can see some real showdowns in the next few years. Somebody will come and play him eye to eye and it will improve my Sunday that day to get to watch that.

Yes sir.....
1/9 that guy has had some late night episodes in Georgia strip clubs. I could be wrong, Riboletta got beat at 1/9, but I stick with my line.
Smells of HYPOCRISY!
What about the lady on the Today show "angry" at Tiger since her kid idolizes him.
Barkley needs to tell them - "Just because I can putt in the clutch, doesn't mean I should RAISE YOUR KIDS"
Hey Junior, play golf like Tiger, but if you get married make a solid effort to keep it in your pants.

YES!!! Arnie got more tail than a toilet seat for sure! Probably some discretions that Winnie knows about
Maybe Tiger could have helped everybody. He has no real need for any money he can't earn on the course (one would assume), so sponsors be damned.
I wonder what the reaction would be if at his press conference he said. "Attention: Mind your own business." I only need to apologize to my wife." "How many of you have spotless lives where you can really throw stones at me?" "If my actions have hurt you, GET A LIFE or just assimilate to the fact that you will never have a life" "Get away from my family and kids, and I'll see you at Augusta"
He'd be my HERO, but surely Matt Lauer and Natalie Morales would be full of disdain.
