Everything is a pendulum.
Democrats at this point.
The right swung in and helped right the country during and after Obama... but its tacked into this weird white nationalist zone.
It will swing back. The Republican Party is going to get nuked. Its going to lose part of its "family values" "wholesomeness" appeal and end up having to swing to the left more to pick up votes. It already did that with Trump to a large extent. (Trump and Bernie are nearly identical on trade... not that anyone was paying attention.)
Social conservatism is about all but dead at this point. I'm cool with that but the evangelical wing is going to start fracturing.

You... in another thread... just seconds ago...

Defend Trump argument tactic #2... attack the person.
With the ability to flip-flop in mere seconds it makes honest discussion pretty impossible...
But Trump people certainly don't value honesty so there's that!

I sense a meme coming.
Before that happens, "in trouble" and HORRORS are not quite the same.

This is tax avoidance and conservatives.
They go together like mustard on a hot dog.
It's a pastime they're proud of. Earns bragging rights.
I'm afraid it's going to take a bigger stake through the heart.

Tax avoidance is not a crime. Everybody does it when they can. Learned Hand's famous quote about taxes is often cited in tax cases. "Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes. public duty to pay more than the law demands."

Its not.
Falsifying invoices and income statements is. There is proof of those.
Look I get it... its not a crime if Trump or his family do it.

The idea is first you prove your point.
I see nothing at this point. Other than claims.
The subject is Tax Fraud.
I do try at times.

I wasn't commenting to support Trump. I was commenting because of the post saying that Trump was engaged in tax avoidance.
As for proof, is it Avenati type proof or in a court of law adjudicated proof?

I’m sure Horsey meant tax evasion, which is.
