That last race the 3 should have gone by that 6 easily, i think you are right if you have the lead and the rail entering the stretch, no matter how bad you are you can hang on.

Yeah you have LS horses surviving early speed duels either winning or holding on "gamely" for 2nd...No one is closing out wider than the 3 path, its like they are running in quick sand...Track is very tiring out wide in the stretch...Lead entering the stretch is very ideal...
