Piss on him. He had plenty of horse and room to move inside to the rail and take his chances dealing with the once he got past the others. Took the worst of two choices by a landslide.

The last....

Md 5000, and one of the horses is a 10 year old, 0 for 28....and is 7-1 and not without a shot....

Viewer discretion is advised...read on if you must

Going with the 7 here. 2nd time starter, took some money in debut, and flattened out at the end - finishing a close 4th

The 4 is the likely fav...

Super time

4,7 // 4,7 // 2,3,6,10 // 2,3,6,10

7 // 3 // 1,2,4,6,10 // 1,2,4,6,10

7// 1,2,4,6,10 // 3 // 1,2,4,6,10

Hey, I actually selected that nag a few races back in a race as bad as this one because I knew she'd clear off and thought what the hell... Who actually wants to pass anyone in this group? Looked good... for a half... laf... And I know good old Robert has been lamenting that he couldn't get her in, so he's jazzed anyway...

I'm at a loss here... Silva riding Trimble, Willie with Nate Smith, Ochoa on Dan Mac... there's not even any clues to what might be live... except MAYBE...

W.L. Bill The Big Hawk Mehok drags over some bum from the Pender barn to make its local debut and you know, somehow The Big Hawk has managed to win with junk like this in spots like this in year's past. I'm not sure the magic is still there, and I actually think you probably have it about right with the Willie Whitehouse second timer - but man that was a terrible crew - but then again, this one ain't exactly...

Ahhh...

Just for the sake of putting something up here:

$10 W/P

.10 super 2,4,7 - 2,3,4,6,7,10 - 1,2,3,4,6,7,10 - etc =

Oohh that's $30.... tikes!!!

Wow... Since I'm guessing Old Crafty isn't at Ellis and he still doesn't know what a superfecta is I don't imagine...

...just a numbers player?

I can see liking each of the horses and using them, hell, even boxing the four alone if you just categorically dismissed the Chambers, Silva, and Dan Mac because they obviously couldn't run and were taking money for trainer's name sake alone....

...but a straight $1 winning ticket?? Gotta just be a "magic numbers" or quick pick play...

No magic numbers or quick pick. He gave it to a couple of guys and one of them threw in a couple more horses and hit the .10 center. He was shocked when the guy showed him his ticket.

That's pretty good. It was mildly ironic that those two guys in particular ran one-two in the race considering all of the big names with a starter, which piqued my interest when you mentioned it. But, I can't imagine even they, or another common thread therein, could have predicted that with any certainty. But then again, I did remark that my common thread therein probably didn't play any supers and the way you explained the score and the surprise of the person that actually offered the picks... nah, no way... he wouldn't ever give out a thing to anyone...

Time to reinvest yesterday's profits
Always gotta use fales in quarter horses so leg 1 will survive with 2,3,4

Second leg
Trying to beat silva and the even scarier Justin Evans
Miss Luna is fast maybe she makes the lead
Fire inside for diodoro
And the two obvious contenders
2,3,5,6

Third leg
Can't get past two main contenders
Miss communication and glee
3,4

Fourth leg
The silva entry looks tough
Taxi ride and lucky high but my two female Winnipeg riders scare me
Have to use the
2,3,7 as well
The 2 for Metz
The 3 bears tigerette up off the win
And the 7 Tiz o gold also off the win

2,3,4/2,3,5,6/3,4/1,2,3,7

$48

Late to the party, but a little love for Lionell at a big price... a little, little love.

I'm not sure which way to play this one...

Holy Matteucci now that I look this card over a bit more closely, this is a tough day to get excited about.

I thought there might be some value to playing Uniqua here in the second on the simple premise that she seems to be headed the right way at this stage in her young career - but 9-5 isn't close to what I'd need to see to shuffle up to a machine and actually get a ticket.

This third race is a sight to behold... 1x/2L on turf and the two morning line favorites leave the Mike Mitchell barn. Yeah, the one that shows almost nothing is going to His Holiness for the local debut here, but heck, I don't see the race on her form that makes her a standout even if the trainer change is irrelevant.

The other one, Miss Communication, at least comes off a win when she was claimed. But I'm still a little leery and the even money type price is a very bitter pill - barn switch, track switch, surface switch - and in terms of the latter, she shows an awful effort at short odds at Pomona. Occassionally you can use the failure or success at Pomona as a bit of a glimmer of insight into how a runner will take to the configuration of the tight turns of the small turf course at TuP.

But it's not like there's a ton behind those two either. At least Scalpers Dream has an established form to go by and April has a good race over the trip and Vergara didn't seem to mind her.

I suppose on a purely form cycle type angle, Buds N Roses should run as well as can be expected after two races in over her head off the layoff, then an adequate race the third time in a wide open $6250 where she beat nothing, but only was beaten a few lengths by a much, much better mare.

I'll slap up my confused impression of what a guy like me could do if his hand was forced into playing this mess:

$1 tri: 6,7 - 1,3,6,7 = $12

.20 super 6,7 - 1,3,6,7 - 1,3,4,6,7 - ALL = $14.40

Yeah well... I guess you just had to come to grips with the fact that the rest of the field was so mediocre that being skeptical of the two leaving Mitchell's care was probably just the first clue that it was bound to be a non-betting affar... as they parade 1-2... I suppose 3-1 on the exacta was actually a gift if you had faith.
