If there is a place in the country that I wouldn't want to turn in my gun(s) , Chicago would rank pretty high on that list.

That depends on whether or not the call comes in at the time of a donut break. If so, it could well be longer.

Apparently the two months between passage and enforcement was the window to sell your firearm if defined as an "assault weapon".
