The main stream liberal media loves to promote that racism is now running rampant in the USA as never before. A good example is MSN, force of habit they have been my homepage since Al Gore invented the internet. Every day they have a front page lead story or more about alleged racist acts, as usual they twist words and tell half the story to suit their agenda. Even if they didn't twist the story or tell half of it, we are a nation of 330 million people, even if a sliver of the population were racist it will be real easy to find hundreds of acts of racism on a daily basis in a country as large as the USA.
If a person doesn't do the math and buys into the liberal media propaganda they would think things are worse now then they were in the 60's Jim Crow South.

The earth is 4.5 billion years old, and you get to be alive during Trump's Presidency. Hallelujah.

Trump has done nothing to indicate that he is a racist. The democrat party is so bankrupt of ideas they have no other course. Give us free stuff, free everything. Rich people can pay for it. I am entitled. Plus, they cannot speak without using the F word.

I’m pretty old and there is less racism now than in anytime of my life. It’s on a continual downward path

I am 57, lived in California for 50 of those years I can honestly say I have witnessed few incidents of racism. First one was hanging out with my college football friends, our foursome consisted of two white guys and two black guys. I lived in an apartment complex where the average tenant age was 50+, the area was predominately white. The apartments were two story that made a rectangle around the pool area where the BBQ grilles were. Whenever I had Lloyd and Issac over for grilling and or swimming people were constantly peeking out their windows at us. They all knew I belong there.
I passed through Arkansas 3 times will moving across the county in 2011, stayed the night in the state two times and probably ate at a half dozen restaurants. The place seemed very segregated. I had stopped at a 100% white Waffle House and I swear I was eating breakfast at a KKK meeting. All of the dozen patrons were talking across tables making derogatory remarks about minorities as easy as most people discussed a ball game they had just watched.

The world is full of racists. Always has been...always will be.
I don't know why this constantly shocks people...America doesn't have an exclusive on the racist population.
All we can do is teach our kids to be better than the last generation...and work as shining examples for them.
Of course it doesn't help when the MSM tries to paint every single Republican as racist...but they don't have much to work with, so they have to resort to something I guess.

I’ve seen and heard as much racism from blacks or natives towards whites as I’ve seen the other way around. I agree with your Deep South segregation comment. I spent a winter in Birmingham and some time in Louisiana. That’s probably the most visible racist attitudes I’ve see also. But the rest of the country is pretty benign.

The country is "pretty benign", aside from Birmingham and Louisiana? Okay, then...the "racism" problem is under control.
