Go back a pole to the third place finisher Overtook........he ran a solid second in the Withers in his most recent.
Six months from this epic battle will be Act 3 @ Churchill.

Tapit and Curlin are responsible for most of the wins/placings in the Belmont Stakes for the past 8 years.

Neither has gotten a Derby winner yet, though Curlin has had a couple runners-up (Exaggerator, Good Magic). Tapit seems transfixed on 4th place in the Derby getting Tacitus (moved up to 3rd on DQ), Mohaymen, Frosted, and Normandy Invasion.

Curlin has also gotten a Preakness winner and several Preakness placings.

Known Agenda will run all day. I don't know why he flopped for a couple races. Looks like he is back and will be a major factor the first Saturday in May.

Curlin really has turned into a top notch stallion.
In the last year he's sired four Grade 1 winners.
The other three:
Paris Lights (Coaching Club Oaks).
Global Campaign (Woodward).
Idol (Santa Anita Handicap).

I can tell you why in the Remsen...........Known Agenda hates the mud.
He's about the only Curlin I've seen that doesn't love the goo.
If it's muddy on Derby Day he's in trouble.
