It is the MOST AMAZING FEELING IN HORSE RACING when the will pays come up AND:
You are the only 1 alive in the pick 7.
You have all in the pick 4 and they are paying nicely AND
You have 10 out of 11 tickets that are alive to close the pick 5.
AND THE BIGGEST PRICE WINS (and you get even more in the PICK 4 and PICK 5)

$9000 carryover in Pick 5 tonight. I would expect over $40,000 bet tonight....Wide open races....
Another great card. Way to go Emerald!

Front page of the Seattle Times sport section today is a picture of "Stryker" showing off for the camera and full headline story. Final prep today to get ready for his attempt to become first 3peat winner of the LGA Mile. Only 3 other horses have won it twice, one being the blazing Simply Majestic.

I didn't like the ride in the last. He wants to be off the rail. Had him in between last time. Stay wide and burst when you feel like it, is the ride I would give.
Another part of me says father time maybe has gotten to him. Would hate to see him decline.

If he doesn't win the Mile, he doesn't run again. No point at all. Off to the pension farm. He'll be taken care of. Good people around him.

Tuned in to see this hot second timer, THE CHILLI MAN. Show bridgejumpers on him. He was 2-5 (should have been 1-9, odd only 2-5). Didn't break all that well, sat 4th, pulled up lame on turn.
One and done at EMD.

He is not. He was euthanized after sustaining a bilateral sesamoid fracture.
