I had the pleasure of having our own Mountainman on my show today to talk about all things Mountaineer and his career. Interview starts about 15 minutes in. A big fan of Mark's so it was cool to get to talk with him.
Mark is a freak at identifying false favorites. I've NEVER heard him nominate a false favorite that won. Seriously. I've probably heard him declare in the vicinity of 100 false favorites over my 14 years at Mountaineer and I cannot recall ANY of them winning. That's what you need to hone in on.

Made me appreciate just how deep and long-term Mark P's connections are to the Mountain - I've had little success there as a player, but I've always been impressed by his (and Nancy's) analysis of the home track. Interview helped me understand why.

You Mark and Nancy make the Mtn telecast one of my faves in racing.
Tx, guys..had personal issue emerge that afternoon and couldn't focus (at all) like Jason deserved. Was bad day and interview thus a blur for me now. Much respect to a modest and multi-talented dude. I call him friend.
Upcoming seminar with Pete should be great. I really doubt that an hour even scratches the surface there. Plenty of fans don't realize how much he can offer.
