Beyer or Bris (Speed Figures) One Only?

If you could only have one or the other available., which would you choose?

Don't care. I don't rely on extremely accurate differentials in speed figures. As long as they are internally consistent, that is all I need. For everything else, Bris beats DRF hands down.

BRIS offers pace figs, so on that basis alone I choose BRIS.

Doesn't matter if you have to ask that question.

Bris Ultimate PPs also have class figs. I have just started using them, and preliminary indications are that they are very good. The Ultimate PPs are nominally $3 a card, but if you sign up for "Silver", they are $1.50. No charge for "Silver" except a $30 a month minimum purchase.

Now there's a helpful answer. And yes I get what you're saying... I had a reason...you can return to your E-pony figs

I don't think there's any comparison between Beyer and Bris. If you are a Formulator user, the gap is monstrous.

BEYER

Timeform-US (seriously)

but of the two, BEYER - I'm not a big speed figure nut, so I can't say that I have every element of the figures mastered (like some others on this board), but I have noticed that Bris seems to to inflate some of the cheaper races(and not just legitimately fast races where a speed got out on an uncontested dream trip). Beyer seems to go the opposite way and maybe incorporates class level and prior earned Beyers a bit into the figure. Of the two choices I'd rather take Beyer, than see a cheaper contender showing one of the best last out speed figures that really wasn't.

Looking at a race through a speed figure is like looking at a room through a keyhole.
