@Bustin Stones

I'm pretty sure Maggot Brain has nothing to do with Jimi Hendrix. Fairly certain George told Eddie to play as if his mom had just died.

If you like Maggot Brain you'll love "Pray My Soul" by Axiom Funk.

Eddie put his mom down as the song writer so she would get the royalties. It's Bernie Worrell.. (keyboardist from the parliment funkadelic, talking heads etc) Eddie, and Bootsy... produced by Bill Laswell. Not many people know it exists... Laswell is a genius.

When the Eagles formed, they opened for Jethro Tull before they reached fame. Not sure how many times. "We Used to Know" was performed routinely on Tull's concert tour. Legend has it Don Felder stole the melody arrangement and wrote "Hotel California". There's no doubt a close resemblance.

Ian Anderson laid this track 50+ years ago. It's still huge.

I didn't know that was the name of that song, but I remember it.

I love the guitar playing in this. It was used in season 2 episode 8 of "Better Call Saul"
