I saw the breeder on TV mention that she was pregnant with twins originally but they had to eliminate one. Got me thinking, has there every been a horse of note who was a twin, or is reducing the foals to one a must-do to ensure health of the dam & foal? Two Arrogate-Songbird babies sounds attractive in theory.

None of note. It’s usually a case of not getting proper vet care (early ultrasound) when it does happen.
