I think I found the source of the surge...Trunews, is listed in a Google search with PaceAdvantage as the 12th listing for today when you narrow the search for “last 24 hours” ...associated with the thread I started here “Tonight’s TrueNews”
Just a possibility, but has potential. TruNews is Reporting from the UN this week.

When you think about how Google predominately makes money it's through search words. People type things and those things have value.

Particularly if its a transactional search such as Plumbers near me, as opposed to an informational search such as "how high is Mount Everest?".

In order for Google to sell you someone who searched for something transactional , they have to expose vast amounts of search data to search marketers.

Most anything you want to learn about web traffic, search queries and volumes, devices searched on, time on site, pages visited, actions taken....

All that and more is available. Not because Google is just into sharing it, but they have to expose it all , so that search marketers can compete for it.

Google is Auction based... You bid for the words...but it is not identical to a true auction where the highest bid wins, in this auction setting, you pay .01 penny more than the highest 2nd bidder. Bids are blind.
